During our historic Windrush intergenerational project, JJ unveiled our WIILMA flag, the union jack in our inclusive WIILMA colours. Pictured are Yvonne, Ke tao and Deborah. Ke Tao is an exceptional photographer who has been with our volunteer family from almost the beginning and has been instrumental in capturing so many key milestones in our journey. Meet Yvonne. Our Caribbean Queen, whom we also crowned our Spirit of WIILMA and love so much. With her welcoming kindness and warmth she encapsulates and embodies the positive community spirit & values of WIILMA. Yvonne is a retired NHS staff nurse who did so much to contribute to our society. We met her on a bus ahead of our Windrush 75 intergenerational heritage project and she has become a very special part of our family.
